The Cub Club Program is specifically designed for toddlers from 1 year old to 2 years old. Children at this stage need a safe, secure, and exciting environment to explore their growing world.
We focus on Early Learning fundamentals, fostering independence, and building strong social skills through interactive play.
Communication: Children are talked to and read to daily to encourage language development.
Social Skills: Children are re-directed to different activities to avoid conflict and learn positive interaction.
Recognition: Children are taught to recognize and identify everyday objects via spoken word and sign-language.
Belonging: Children are encouraged to identify classmates and teachers by name, building a sense of community.
Independence: Children begin to learn self-help skills such as dressing, putting their belongings away, and cleaning up after themselves.
Circle Time: Circle time is introduced where children learn to participate. They are taught to identify animals/sounds, name body parts, and recognize shapes, colors, numbers, and letters through repetition.
